Stewardship

Giving in the church is meant to reflect a Spirit-wrought change in our priorities from building our kingdom to building God’s Kingdom. There is joy in giving, and we believe God blesses the willing gift. See Luke 21:1-4

While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins. “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

We praise God for willing hearts faithfully sowing the seed of this ministry. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 says "whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.
