Jonni Sliver

The Miriam Home is a foster home started in 1990 with one little boy, who's Mother died from a heart attack in her early 20's. Social Services from Campo Mourão had come up to see if we could take this child. So little Ricardo came and the Miriam Home was born. Since Ricardo, hundreds of children have passed through the doors of this Brazilian foster ministry, some being adopted to other families, others returning to their recuperated family.

Association Ministries

Free LuTheran Bible College (FLBC)

The Free Lutheran Bile College (FLBC, previously AFLBS) is a two-year Bible college designed to help students know and understand God’s Word and apply it to their lives. As students study the Bible, they grow in their relationship with God, develop life-long friendships, and learn to serve God with their lives.

FLBC has been a precious ministry that has blessed and equipped students for over 65 years. Start here and go anywhere, grounded in God’s Word!

Free Lutheran Seminary (FLTS)

Since 1964, the Free Lutheran Seminary (FLTS) has been preparing servant pastors for free and living Lutheran congregations. FLTS offers a Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree in a three-year classroom format and one-year internship.

Seminary training at FLTS includes three years of classroom instruction on a beautiful campus in suburban Minneapolis. The fourth year includes a one-year congregation-based internship in a Free Lutheran congregation, with an experienced AFLC pastor as supervisor.

The ARC (The Association Retreat Center)

The Association Retreat Center is located in northwestern Wisconsin along the beautiful St. Croix River Valley just 45 minutes from the Minneapolis-St Paul Metropolitan area. In 1979, the AFLC bought the abandoned radar base to be used as a summer Bible Camp. It is a full service camp and retreat center with five main meeting rooms, a full-service kitchen, a man-made swimming lake and the ability to lodge up to 600 guests.

The ARC exists to glorify Jesus Christ by providing a place where people can be equipped to make a positive difference in their lives, homes, churches, and communities. “Come away and rest awhile” for retreats, conferences, camps and other events.
