Partner ministries are ministry works independent from Living Word Mankato that share our values and contribute to the mission of the church. These are ministries we support in various ways:
Direct leadership and volunteer involvement of our members
Giving to support their ministry activities
Special events to facilitate awareness and build connections
Intentional prayer support for their ministry leadership
Options for Women Mankato
Options for Women Mankato exists to help the women of Mankato and surrounding areas with the support, assistance and guidance they need when facing an unplanned pregnancy. Meeting women where they are at, our goal is to always make sure that every woman knows their options and knows they don’t have to walk through it alone. There is hope. We are here to provide assistance and support to women.
Together for Good
TFG offers tangible opportunities to do good as Christians come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. TFG volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through our network of care. TFG believes God calls us to defend, visit and care for widows and orphans, and that we are called to walk with the hurting, the rejected and those who are in distress.
Operation Christmas Child
Millions of children are coming to the Lord Jesus Christ through Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse. OCC brings Good News and great joy to children around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Through The Greatest Journey, our 12-lesson discipleship program for shoebox recipients, entire communities are transformed by the Gospel.
Adult & Teen Challenge
Our mission is to assist teens and adults in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We offer both a long-term, faith-based recovery program and short-term licensed treatment program, allowing us to effectively serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addiction issues.
Christian Alliance for Orphans
The Christian Alliance for Orphans unites 190+ respected organizations and over 650 church members. Our joint initiatives inspire and equip Christians to live out effectively the Bible’s call to care for orphans and vulnerable children in an ever-growing community of passionate individuals, families, churches and organizations who invest time, talent and treasure in a personal and sustained commitment to caring for children in the name of Jesus.
Gideons International
Founded in 1899, The Gideons International serves as an extended missionary arm of the church and is the oldest Association of Christian business and professional men in the United States of America. Gideons faithfully distribute Bibles to give people access to God’s Word and share the Gospel.
Bible Study Fellowship
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is a ministry with global, in-depth Bible classes producing passionate commitment to Christ, His Word, and His Church. Their vision is to magnify God and mature His people as they cultivate a deeper relationship with Him.
